The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) is an impactful in-school initiative that introduces students from grades 4 through 12 to the fundamentals of international-style target archery. Their well-structured curriculum prioritizes safety, mental concentration, self-control, and physical coordination, making archery accessible to students of all backgrounds and abilities.
Through its emphasis on precision and mental fortitude, NASP goes beyond just teaching archery skills to foster valuable life lessons, including discipline, patience, and the ability to retain focus while under pressure. This benefits students on the archery range, as well as in their academic pursuits and in their personal lives.
